Campaign News!

Dear Friends,

I wanted you to be the first to know: after careful reflection and much discussion, I’m running for re-election in 2022!

Will you join our 2022 campaign?

With all that is at stake, we’ve got too much work to do to back down now.

Already this legislative session, I’ve had three bills pass the House, and I’ve stood up time and again to make sure our progressive voices were heard loud and clear on the House floor!

I’ve shown my commitment to holding the line for mental health, public schools, good paying jobs for working families, wealthy corporations paying their fair share, and standing up for the most vulnerable Kentuckians.

The redistricting process turned the 35th district from “safe blue” to “toss up.” That’s why I’m beginning my campaign today! With your help, I’ll be able to define myself and speak up for our values in the new 35th before any special interest can try to define us, no matter what our opposition looks like.

Over the next several months, I plan to hold town halls, walk door-to-door, send mailings, and bring our campaign directly to every voter in the new 35th district.

The campaign begins today; I hope you’ll join us as we take our message to a brand new district!

Please chip in if you can.  Contributions may be made online or by mail.

Thanks for your friendship and ongoing support,
